about

An Omnibus compilation of content from 4-5 different releases over the years, compiled together into one near-continuous mix.

The Material used for this release includes:

Partum Nihil EP [2015; tracks 1-7]: clocking in at under 10 minutes, it is a short burst of hard techno and electronic industrial that serves as one of the heavier and accessible moments on the record.

Obliteration [2016-2017; track 7 and tracks 11-13]: This record served as a midway between the dark-ambient sound I would eventually realize in Deep Pressions with the glitch soloing and automation I'd come to heavily rely on in later remixes and future releases. The shining gem of this release is undoubtedly Obliterate, which served as the first real dive I took into a industrial techno and power electronics.

Shitbient 1-2 [2014-2018; tracks 14-22 and tracks 23-27]: these EPs were always experiments, taking whatever ambient and noise I had and trying to make it flow in and interesting manner. The first one, started in 2014, was much more of a collage in that sense, while the second 2018 release was a series of noise and glitch automations that didn't fit with the tracks they were intended for but stood out on their own. I've interwoven the two of them together on this record, mixing tracks from one EP seamlessly into the other in order to marry the mutual dark ambient sound they possess together into one continuous experience.

The Deep Pressions Sessions [2014-2017; tracks 28 and onwards]: for much of my early era of music, Deep Pressions was my major passion-project. What started off in October of 2014 as a 20 minute collection of amateur dark ambient morphed into hours of content. This would eventually be refined into the 30 minute 2017 version of the release which bears little resemblance to that initial draft. Almost all the releases here had the common thread of possessing material that came from the work for Deep Pressions, and these tracks have now been put back into their proper place to remake this process record from the ground up, ending with a monolith mix called Gargurgishis, which started out as a paul stretched guitar solo, but ended up become a legitimate attempt at longform music.
